How to Use the Directory to Find a Stem Cell Clinic

A short guide to searching the directory, reading a clinic listing and profile, and the questions to take to any provider you are considering.

⚕ Medical Disclaimer: This article is for general information only and is not medical advice, a clinical endorsement, or a statement that any treatment is proven or approved. Stem cell therapies vary widely in regulatory status and evidence. Consult a qualified physician before pursuing treatment.

Stem Cell Directory lists stem cell and regenerative medicine providers in one searchable place. This guide explains how to use the directory and what each part of a listing tells you. It does not recommend any clinic or treatment.

1. Start with a search or a place

The search box on the homepage looks through clinic names, doctors, conditions, cities and countries. Below it you can narrow the list by country, state or region, and by condition, and switch between a grid and a list view.

If you already know where you want to be treated, open that place's page instead. There is a page for each country in the directory, for example Mexico or Colombia, and a page for each U.S. state, reached from the USA page. Each one lists every provider the directory has in that place.

2. Read the listing

Each listing shows what the clinic publishes about itself: its location and contact details, the conditions it says it treats, the cell types or therapies it names, and pricing where the clinic shares it. These details come from the clinic's own website and other public sources, and they can change, so treat them as a starting point.

3. Check whether a clinic is verified

A ✓ Verified badge means the clinic has a researched profile page in the directory. A profile collects, in one place:

  • an overview of the practice
  • an "At a Glance" summary with location and phone number
  • the services and conditions the clinic lists
  • the cell sources and technologies it describes, where it says
  • the physicians it names
  • what it publishes about cost and payment

Clinics without the badge are still listed, but have not had a profile written yet. Verified describes how much research the directory has done. It is not an endorsement or a safety rating.

4. Questions to ask any provider

Whichever clinic you contact, it helps to ask the same questions so you can compare answers:

  1. What type of cells or product would be used, and where do they come from?
  2. What is the regulatory status of this treatment in the country where it is given?
  3. Who performs the procedure, and what are their qualifications?
  4. What does the quoted price include, and what costs extra?
  5. What follow-up care is offered afterwards?

Our FAQ has background on how stem cell treatments are regulated. Always talk to your own doctor before deciding on treatment.

5. Request information

Clinic pages and country and state pages have a short form for requesting information. It is free to use, and someone will follow up with information about the provider or providers you asked about.

Find a provider

Search the directory by clinic, doctor, condition, city or country, or browse the providers listed in a country or U.S. state.
