The directory lists 97 stem cell providers in Florida, 83 of them verified. Miami, Tampa and Sarasota have the most, followed by Orlando, Boca Raton, Fort Lauderdale, Jacksonville, Melbourne and Delray Beach, with others from Tallahassee to Fort Myers.
Most are private orthopaedic, spine, sports medicine and pain practices. QC Kinetix alone has 18 Florida locations. The University of Miami Health System's Sports Medicine Institute is the main academic programme listed. Bone marrow concentrate is named most often, followed by fat-derived cells and amniotic products. Arthritis, back and spine pain, sports injuries and tendon problems lead the conditions listed, and a few clinics also list lung conditions.
Clinics marked ✓ Verified have been researched: we confirmed a working website, a real location, and that the clinic itself describes offering stem cell or cell-based treatment. Of the 97 providers listed in Florida, 83 are verified; the others are listed but not yet checked. Verification is not a recommendation, and it does not mean a treatment works.
In the United States, the Food and Drug Administration has approved very few stem cell products, mainly blood-forming stem cells from umbilical cord blood for disorders of the blood. Treatments that use a patient's own minimally processed cells in the same procedure, such as bone marrow concentrate, can be offered without that approval. Donor products such as umbilical cord, amniotic and exosome products are different: the FDA has warned patients that many of these are unapproved, and it has received reports of serious side effects. Read the FDA's guidance for patients.
